Len Heath invited to the West Virginia Lawyer Well-Being Task Force and West Virginia Judge’s & Lawyers Assistance Program

Len Heath invited to make presentations to the West Virginia Lawyer Well-Being Task Force and the West Virginia Judge’s and Lawyers Assistance Program Annual Meeting.

Mr. Heath was invited by the West Virginia Lawyer Well-Being Task Force and West Virginia JLAP Board to make presentations on May 19 and May 20, respectively, in Roanoke, West Virginia at the Stonewall Resort. On May 19, Mr. Heath worked with the West Virginia Lawyer Well-Being Task Force, which is chaired by Chief Justice Elizabeth Walker of the West Virginia Supreme Court, to facilitate discussions among the task force members on providing lawyer well-being services within the State of West Virginia. On May 20, Mr. Heath presented a program on the Occupational Risks of the Practice of Law set forth in a landmark Virginia State Bar report issued by the special committee appointed by Mr. Heath while he was President of the Virginia State Bar in 2018-19. That report has been used in over 25 states and three countries.

In the past, Mr. Heath has made similar presentations to the National Association of Bar Executives meeting in Austin, Texas and to the New York State Bar Association Lawyer Well-Being Task Force.
